Description

0.7–1 MM EXTRA-FINE TIP
PC - 1MC The very fine tip of the PC-1MC is ideal for small-format creations. USAGE
The PC-1MC is the ideal POSCA for small-format creations with its small size and its extra-fine bullet tip. It is appreciated by adults and children, from beginners to the most experienced, who use it for precise colouring. Application
The extra-fine bullet-tip POSCA is perfect for novice and experienced crafters, who use it for drawing, colouring, scrapbooking, tableware and upcycling. It is also used by professionals to add colour to documents, produce roughs, colour in illustrations or make precise markings (many beekeepers use it to identify queens in their hives!). Finally, artists appreciate it for painting, drawing or signing their works. Easy
It provides a strong, confident line. You can't go wrong! Convenient
Enthusiasts love being able to use this pocket-sized marker any time. Versatile
Its tip is fine enough for writing but dense enough for drawing. Handy
The tip can be taken off and washed under the tap (unlike a fine-point felt-tip pen). Shake the marker energetically up and down with the cap on. You will hear the ball inside clicking announcing that the paint colour inside the POSCA marker is being mixed. PRIME AND TEST THE MARKER
Press the tip several times on a spare piece of paper until the tip is filled with paint. Test the flow on your spare paper – if the line is clear, your POSCA is ready. It is useful to keep a cloth at hand to clean the tip easily or absorb any excess paint. RE-PRIME
If the paint flows less freely during use, shake the marker again without forgetting to put the cap on first to avoid paint projections. Re-prime the tip and off you go again! CLEAN
If necessary, you can clean the tip under the tap as often as you want. If it gets very dry, you can even leave it to soak in water overnight.

Versatile paint pen, nice way to add white highlights to paintings/drawings

I have been using POSCA paint pens for a few years now and they are incredibly versatile! I’ve had success using them on canvas, all types of paper, on resin (cured), on fabrics, on glass, over watercolours, on metals snd I’m sure there are plenty of other ways to use them that I am yet to discover. The pens basically draw like regular markers but keep their colour/opacity and can draw on a greater range of surfaces. You may need to seal the pen to ensure it doesn’t rub off or scratch, this really depends on the surface you apply it to. I think they may have improved the pen designs as these nibs were much nicer than the ones I purchased years ago, the nib is more precise (so creating intricate designs is much easier), the paint flows better and it’s easier to prep them. The pens take a small amount of prep to use for the first time which involves shaking the pens to get the little metal ball rolling, you press and hold the nib against a hard surface to get the paint flowing and then you are basically good to go. Pens can go dry over time and may simply require a few good shakes and to press the nib against a hard surface again, or you may need to remove the whole nib to clean it before it will work again.
